The Divine Epic is described by its author as a background summary of the Catholic Faith. It offers a canvas with outlines, but does not pretend to fill in every detail. Without such a background, says Frank Morris, the details may be misplaced or ignored.
The lectures treat four elements: God, man, Christ, and the Church. They take a hovercraft visit of these, just touching the topmost waves - especially the history of the church. But they try to ignore important factors of Vatican II, and are among few major treatments of that historic council. The uniqueness of these talks is that they cover so much ground, and try to make a complete summary of areas usually treated separately. Two lectures per tape.
By Frank Morris can be purchased separately or in sets. (25tape set)
